Course objectives
KSJ:
The student applies a encompassing-didactic approach for preparing a Czech language lesson with specific links to pupil assessment. The student will describe different types of textbooks and teaching materials for language, communication and style education, describe the criteria for their evaluation and the possibilities of preparing their own teaching materials, especially with regard to personalized and culturally sensitive teaching in heterogeneous groups (i.e. including the consideration of individual needs of pupils).

LV:
Students will be introduced to various concepts of reading and teaching materials. They will learn about the possibilities of preparing their own teaching materials for working with literary texts, especially with regard to personalized learning, taking into account the individual needs of students in heterogeneous groups.
Learning outcomes
KSJ:
The students will prepare for the lesson (including motivation and feedback), choose appropriate methods and forms of work, taking into account, among other things, the potential cultural specificities of the students in the heterogeneous group, and other aspects of inclusion. Describes the different teaching materials for teaching communication, essay and language education and the criteria for their evaluation, which they apply in their own evaluation of textbooks (workbooks, digital environment) and in the independent preparation of their own teaching materials.

LV:
Students will explore current concepts of instructional materials for teaching literature at the 2nd grade elementary school level. They will be able to create their own teaching materials for working with adequately selected literary texts, especially taking into account the potential cultural specificities of pupils in a heterogeneous group, but also taking into account other aspects of inclusion. These teaching materials can be critically evaluated, varied, and discussed reflectively in a safe environment of personalised learning.
