Course objectives
The aim of the course is to inform the undergraduates about the content of the language teaching in basic schools. The seminars focus on working out preparation for the lesson (including the motivation and feed-back), selecting suitable working methods and forms (various types of lessons), preparing some additional material: texts for practising individual grammar phenomena, suitable illustrations for demonstrations and explanations, didactic games and so on, learning how to correct mistakes in written works and oral utterances of the pupils. The undergraduates can also compare a few types of textbooks and discuss their conceptions.
