Course objectives
The goal of the subject is to get acquainted future teachers with the basic concepts of general linguistics with a bias on Romance linguistics. After the introduction into the bases of modern linguistics, the course deals with speech, language, text, language structuring, language plans, utterance, types of language classification, differentiation and integration in language development and with the origin and differentiation of Romance languages. At the end of this course, students should be able to apply the acquiered knowledges and skills at school.
