Course objectives
The goal of the subject is the analysis of selected samples of French medieval literature. The subject matter are phonetic, morphologic, syntactic and lexical features characteristic for this period. At the end of this course, students: have a survey of the French language development starting in plebeian Latin until 17th century; recognise and define phoneme, morphology, syntactic, lexical changes in individual periods of the development of French; are able to apply the acquiered knowledges and skills at practice.
