Course objectives
The aim of the course is for future teachers of science subjects to be able to apply inter-subject relationships through integrated teaching, motivate pupils to study science subjects, to protect the environment and to implement conscious environmentally friendly behavior in the context of sustainable development (cross-cutting topic Environmental education at primary school ). Emphasis is mainly placed on practical tasks and projects supporting intersubject relationships, application of the curriculum in solving problem situations in everyday life, technical applications, etc.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should be able to use science knowledge and skills in applying integrated teaching and in solving practical problems. They also acquire: Knowledge of selected science and environmental topics with an emphasis on the relationship of the material discussed to practice, to nature, to technical applications, etc. Skills: To be able to motivate pupils to study science subjects, to plan interesting science activities leading to motivation students and environmental protection, identify environmental problems, recognize their interrelationships, propose possible solutions to environmental problems and be able to use them practically. Furthermore, present your work, communicate and lead a discussion on a selected topic. Attitudes: To develop a respectful attitude of the student towards the environment. The student should learn to take into account the ecological effects of his actions when making decisions in everyday life.
