Course objectives
Annotation: The aim of the course is to obtain knowledge on the topic of clear management theories and principles of safe driving and at the college level. The emphasis is on the logical structure of this discipline and to acquire knowledge and skills needed to teach courses focused on transport in the knowledge that pupils secondary schools are the future drivers of motor vehicles. In this context, attention is paid to protection of health and nature. The consultation included are methods of activation discussions, case studies, etc. simple.
Objectives: Knowledges: A comprehensive overview of knowledge on the topic of management theory and principles of safe driving with an emphasis on the relationship of the subject matter to human health, nature, practice, technology, etc. Skills: Being able to characterize the principles of safe driving in connection with the personality and state of the driver, the technical condition of roads, the technical conditions of vehicles. Conducted the sufficient analysis of specific risk factors. Use the subject matter for the prevention of risky behavior in high school. Apply the knowledge gained in the course of the control theory and principles of safe driving in teaching and engineering practice. Attitude: To learn the value of health education, prevention of injuries and deaths on the roads. Deepen the values of ethical behavior and responsibility towards themselves and others. Deepen the values to environmental protection.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should know and be able to:
Basic rules of thematic areas of consultation.
Identify and characterize traffic risk factors in the context of teaching.
Make the appropriate use of knowledge from thematic areas of consultation in the educational process.
Is able to apply this topic adequately to traffic practice.
Syllabus
  • Sylabus of consultations (after weeks or blocks): 1. Theory of driving and principles of safe driving - the hygiene of the driver's work. Medical fitness and current health and psychological state of the driver. Traffic ethics. 2. Basic physical driving conditions. Driver behavior on different types of road surfaces, weather and climatic conditions, etc. 3. Defensive driving principles. Behavior of the driver while driving in the village, on the road I. II. III. Classes, etc. 4. Conditions for the proper functioning of passive vehicle safety features (seatbelts, airbags and child seats). 5. Traffic accident. Characteristics of participants in traffic accidents - the culprit, the victim, the witness. 6. The basic causes of the occurrence of traffic accidents - the personality of the driver, the current state of the driver, the technical state of the vehicle, the state of the road. 7. Unlawful behavior of motor vehicle drivers. Harassment for traffic offenses. 8. Information on possible penalties for offenses and penalties for offenses in road traffic. 9. Information on private liability for damage caused in a traffic accident, in particular on the obligation to compensate for such damage. Compulsory Motor Third Party Liability Insurance. 10. Rules concerning the use of vehicles with respect to the environment. 11. Prevention and handling of emergencies in road traffic. Prevention of medical accidents. General principles of dealing with traffic accidents. IZS. 12. Emergency behavior. Assessment of the situation, designation of the accident site. Call for help. Ensuring safety.

Assessment methods
After the completing of the course, the students should know and would be able to: Basic rules topics consultations. Identify and characterize risk factors in transport related subject teaching. Use adequately knowledge of thematic consultations in the educational process. It is capable of this issue adequately applied in transport practice.
Final written test with a success rate of 60 %.
