Course objectives
Theory of Literature: At the end of this course, students should be able: to acquire with basic literary theory and practice; to list principles French verseology; to develope knowledge and skills in working life. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Introduction to French language study (Schejbalová) The goal of the subject is to get acquainted future teachers with the basic concepts of general linguistics with a bias on Romance linguistics. After the introduction into the bases of modern linguistics, the course deals with speech, language, text, language structuring, language plans, utterance, types of language classification, differentiation and integration in language development and with the origin and differentiation of Romance languages. At the end of this course, students should be able to apply the acquiered knowledges and skills at school.
Learning outcomes
After the course Introduction to Language Study, student will be able to: - focus on basic general linguistic concepts; - understand linguistic contexts, language as a system; - characterize the French language in both diachronic and synchronous terms; - transfer theoretical linguistically oriented knowledge into future pedagogical practice. After the course Introduction to Literature Study, student will be able to: - to acquire with basic literary theory and practice; - to list principles French verseology; - to develope knowledge and skills in working life.

Literary history and its parts, relation to other spheres of humanistic education. 4. Poetics and linguistics. 5. Literary morphology, genres. 6. Prose, fable and plot, narrative category. 7. Model of communication. 3. Function of language. Speech acts. 4. Language classification. French dialects. 5. Differentiation of Romance languages. 6. Phonetics, phonology. Morphology. Syntax. 7.
