Course objectives
The cours is based on the analysis of authentic documents. Students are familiarized with the general principles of written communication and with the formal requirements of business correspondence in French. Creation of the written documents based on their models (CV and cover letter) and job interview preparation. Thanks to internationalisation aspects of the course, the aims are also to share and discuss carrer projects possibilites with students from foreign universities (from France and Hungary) and to develop intercultural competence and open-mindedness.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the students are able to: • differentiate different types of business correspondence documents, • understand their statement, • create their own written documents (CV and cover letter), • apply the knowledge and skills in practice, • discuss their career projets, skills and competences, • talk about their experience from project work in an international team.

Seminar. Presentation. Discussion in an international forum.
Assessment methods
Basic course ending: credit - active seminar/workshop participation, continuous tasks completion and seminar work (CV and cover letter). Another possible ending: colloquium - extra activities added to the basic course ending - internationalization activities - participation in project work in international teams of students from Brno, Pécs, Paris Nanterre and Rennes, final project presentation and discussion.
