Course objectives
The course is aimed at improving the productive and receptive communicative competence. The educational material used during the seminars provide deeper understanding of the current cultural, political and administrative topics in France and deepens general cultural knowledge of students. Such knowledge is essential for successful professional communication in French context.
Learning outcomes
After the course the student will be able to understand texts and recordings on cultural, political and economic topics of levels B2-C1 and hold a conversation on historical, cultural, political and economic topics and also explain their point of view in a work context.

Conditions for passing the exams:

1) Active participation at seminars and seminar tasks

2) Final test with minimum 70 % (or more)

In case the student spends the term abroad, the student contacts the course teacher before departure to make arrangements:

(a) whether the course can be recognised as a 'course for course' (in which case he/she will provide the teacher with a description of the content of the course that he/she wishes to take at the foreign university) and then informs the Erasmus+ Coordinator

(b) how he/she will be able to complete the course individually during his/her stay abroad or upon his/her return.
