Course objectives
The goal of the subject is acquiring the basic knowledge on the issues of general and French phonetics. The emphasis is given on understanding the ways and place of articulation of individual phones of French sound system, particularly the difficult ones for a Czech user. Mastering the system of the international phonetic transcription is also included
