Course objectives
The goal of the subject is the preparation for the final work at the State final examination the part which is a dissertation (essay). The study programme follows up the Written communication 1. At the end of this course, students should be able: to comprehend articles and reports on contemporary issues in French-speaking countries; tu interpret these texts in written form; to improve the argumentation via more-complex text studies.

  • 1. Que peut-on montrer de la guerre, de l’horreur, de la mort? (cf Susan Sontag in Les images de l’atroce, Le nouvel Observateur, 18-24/.09.03). 2. L’ambition (cf Émilie, Émile ou l'ambition féminine au XVIIIe siècle, E. Badinter, 1983). 3. Apprendre : à vivre, à regarder, à être heureux. 4. Tout est-il politique?
