Course objectives
The subject deals with the problems and form of teaching language instruments in a language class. After a short theoretical introduction, the attention is paid to partial aspects, typology of exercises and activating means. Framework Educational Program and a preparation of School Educational Program are also parts of the seminar.
Syllabus
  • 1. Grammar: definition and role of grammar in various methods. Introducing new subject matter. Conceptualisation. Lexicalisation of grammar. Detection and correction of mistakes. 2.Vocabulary: Kinds of vocabulary. Learning methods, presentation, prediction, contextualisation. Difficulties in learning (interference, divergence, convergence). 3. Sound aspect of language: Requirements for active mastering the sound form of the language. The principle of oral basis. 4.Spelling. Function and goals. Types of exercises. Dictation. Differentiation of mistakes.

Assessment methods (in Czech)
Aktivní účast na seminářích. Test na témata probraná během semestru. Minimální úspěšnost testu je 70%.
