- Course objectives
- The goal is to give a survey of the French language development starting in 14th century until 18th century. Phoneme, morphology, syntactic, lexical changes in individual periods of the development of French. At the end of this course, students should be able to apply the acquiered knowledges and skills at the school.
- Learning outcomes
- After the course student will be able to: - identify and summarize important features of French language evolution; - perceive the system of interconnection of individual linguistic disciplines from a diachronic point of view; - explain exceptions in the current language; - apply acquired knowledge in the teaching practice.
