Course objectives
At the end of this course student has a knowledge of learning technology, practical skills, all what is necessary for science teaching.
Contents of the course will actually respond to innovative trends in science education (changing educational standards, the development of educational technology, etc.).
Students will widely determine the actual content of the course.

  • 1. Questionaire survey of interest.
  • 2. Workshops:
  • 2.1 Discipline in science education.
  • 2.2 Purchase, care and inventoryof teaching aids.
  • 2.3 Science study and laboratory.
  • 2.4 Outdor lecture.
  • 2.5 Science teaching room.
  • 2.6 Safety of work in science laboratory.
  • 2.7 Science competitions and olympiads.
  • 2.8 In-service teacher preparation.
  • 2.9 Standards for science education.
  • 2.10 Assesment and classification in science education.
  • 2.11 Co-operation between teachers.
  • 2.12 Burn-out syndrom of science teacher.
