Course objectives
The aim of this course is to give an overview of traditional lots in the area of solid-state physics (the structure of matter, disorder, mechanical, optical, magnetic and electrical properties of substances, semiconductors, etc.) so as to lay the basis for lectures and seminars planned in other studies.
Syllabus
  • The structure of solids. Disturbances in solids. Monocrystals. Mechanical properties of solids. Oscillations of matrix and specific heat capacity of solids. Band theory of solids. Semiconductors. Optical properties of solids. Electrical properties of solids. Magnetic properties of solids.
