Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to play songs in stylization of accompaniment in accordance with character of the melody. They should find more forms of accompaniment of one song.
Syllabus
  • 1. Harmonic cadenza. 2. Main and secondary chord functions. 3. Stylization of accompaniment. 4. – 6. Descant. 7. – 9. Interplay. 10. – 12. Sequel.

Teaching methods
Practical exercises.
Assessment methods
Credit. Lectures, drills, homeworks. The students have to visit the lectures (piano lessons), to practise and to play the studied piano piece(s) and the prepared harmonisations and accompaniments of the folk songs.
