Course objectives
The subject prepares students for the language exam in the area of English skills and systems at level B2 according to SERRJ. Students are expected to reach this level and prove this when taking the exam.

Syllabus
  • 1. pronunciation revision - level B2 according to SERRJ 2. grammar revision - level B2 according to SERRJ 3. vocabulary revision - level B2 according to SERRJ 4. listening - level B2 according to SERRJ 5. reading - level B2 according to SERRJ 6. writing - level B2 according to SERRJ 7. speaking - level B2 according to SERRJ 8. - 13. focusing on test tasks and their practice: word formation, cloze test, reading, listening, transformations and speaking

seminar work, group work, pair work, tests, discussions in individual courses that prepare the students for this exam, learning centres
Assessment methods
1) Two consultations. 2) Placement test - please bring your IAJk09 placement test results. 3) TPT task - essay - beginning of the semester (language analysis). 4) Language advisory and active self-study. 5) Journal (compulsory parts: notes on self-study, notes based on one-to-one consultations). Oral and written part - speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation evaluated. Students have to work on the test tasks in moodlinka regularly every week.
