Course objectives
Deepening the skills of students in playing the piano, their independent choice of appropriate stylizations of artificial and popular songs, the use of secondary chords, transposition of songs, with an emphasis on technical preparation, to increase the quality of the skills of future music teachers in the 1st grade of elementary school with a focus on playing artificial and popular songs.
Learning outcomes
Student:
- has adopted various stylizations and is able to use them in the accompaniment of folk and artificial songs;
Syllabus
  • Playing instrument – the piano:
  • basics of improvisation – accompaniments to 20 songs (selection of artificial and popular songs from 3rd-5th grade primary school textbooks and thematic songbooks).
  • creation of prelude, interlude and finale¨
  • transposition of three selected songs into at least one of the keys, taking into account the pupils' singing range
  • alternating bass, walking bass, broken octaves, figuration, syncopated notes, harmonization of the melody by the right hand
