Course objectives
The aim of the course is to present to student teachers the authentic educational processes in school classrooms, which is meant to help them with the transition from the role of student to the role of teachers. The aim is to observe the teachers' pedagogical acting in classroom situations, relationships between pupils and teachers.
Learning outcomes
Upon finishing the course, the students are able to: present observation and interview protocols, clarify and exemplify the value dimension in education, suggest specific strategies for pupils to develop positive classroom climate.
Syllabus
  • 1. Observation and analysis of the educational environment;
  • 2. Understanding the pupils' worlds. Constructivism.
  • 3. Teacher's assistent in the classroom and their roles.
