Course objectives
The follow-up course objective is to develop the basic assessment methods the students were familiarized with in the previous semester and equip students with the knowledge and skills related to process and outcomes pupils' learning.
Objective of the course:
• become familiar with the assessment of pupils' results;
• understand and apply assessment of pupils' learning styles and their preconceptions;
• to meet the assessment methods of the self-concept of the pupil;
• get experience with assessment of classroom climate pupil positioning in the group;
• have an overview of the types of individual support plans and create a plan for the selected pupil while respecting his or her individual needs.
Learning outcomes
Student:
• knows methods for assessment of the pupils' conception;
• applies one of the methods of diagnosing pupils' learning styles in practice and reflects them;
• knows the types and forms of assessment used to assess pupil outcomes;
• student proposes a didactic test, verifies in practice and evaluates it;
• gets an experience at least one of the methods how to asses relationships in the class or class climate;
• interpret results of psychological and special pedagogical examination.
Syllabus
  • 1.Assessment of the pupil's preconceptions and previous accomplishments in teaching (concept cartoons, mind maps).
  • 2. Assessment of pupils' learning styles.
  • 3.4.5.Assessmentt of the educational results (competencies and outputs of education at the end of primary school level).
  • 6.7. Didactic test: design, evaluation. Working with the results (individual specificity);
  • 8. Assessment of burden management in children and adolescents.
  • 9. Assessment of the social class climate and relationships in the class.
  • 11. Individual and Supporting Educational Plan.
  • 12. Collaboration with experts, working with reports.
  • During the course the students perform partial tasks that are continuously reflected in the course and are based on the final exam.

Assessment methods
Reflection of student seminar work and his/her portfolio + oral or written exam.
Term paper is evaluated according to the following criteria:
• use the correct terminology of educational assessment;
• collection of assessment data to the objective planned assessment activities;
• evaluation and interpretation od the assessment data;
• definition of the diagnosis and suggestion of possible measures.
