Course objectives
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to acquire knowledge and skills in the field of paper and small material. In exercises the students will get acquainted with the current concept in the field of work with materials, working tools and tools used in working with pupils at primary school and apply this knowledge in realizing themes from natural materials, paper and cardboard, wire, foil and modeling materials. Further, the student will acquire the principles of safety and hygiene of work and will acquire the techniques of work with elements of folk customs, traditions and crafts within the scope of the educational field Man and the world of work. teaching. 9. Apply materials during the creation of customary items during the year in the framework of folk customs, traditions and crafts.
Learning outcomes
Students: 1. Design and describe work tools and tools used to work with natural materials. 2. Identify species and seasonal collection of natural resources and their thematic use according to seasons. 3. They make suggestions for practical activities in the area of ​​work with natural resources. 4. Explain the principles of paper work, paper production, overview of paper materials, their processing and use. 5. Realizing themes for practical activities in folding, cutting, modeling, knitting and decorating of paper. 6. They will be able to reflect current trends in creating a portfolio of themes from natural, paper and cardboard, wire, foil and modeling materials. 7. Syllabus
  • Syllabus of exercises (after weeks or blocks): Week 1 and 2: Educational area Man and the world of work, principles of safety and hygiene of work in practical teaching at elementary school. 3rd and 4th week: Four seasons during work with natural materials - tools and tools for working with natural materials, a review of current techniques of work with natural resources, seasonal collection and its thematic use according to seasons. Weeks 5 and 6: Paper World - paper production, overview of paper materials, their processing and use, themes for practical activities in folding, cutting, modeling, knitting and decorating of paper. 7th and 8th week: Natural and technical materials in folk traditions and crafts - creation of special items for individual seasons. Weeks 9 and 10: Working with technical materials - tools and tools for working with technical materials, distribution of small technical material, creation of topics from technical materials, safety and hygiene at work. 11th and 12th week: Nontraditional techniques with traditional materials - application of modeling masses in practical lessons, plastic film forming, wire puzzle.
