Course objectives
The aim of the course is a systematic preparation for concert performances, while respecting the generally applicable principles related to imaginative dramaturgy performances. Developing the ability to assess our own mental and physical strength, which is required in the interpretation of larger units. Develop in student's ability to choose an adequate pace in the depending on the acoustics of the concert hall.
Syllabus
  • 1. – 4. The major and minor scales with sharps in sixths in the range of four octaves in combination 5. – 6. Spread dominant four tones chordes and their turnovers from shape with sharps in the range of four octaves in combination 7. – 9. A virtuoso composition of the romantic period 10. Prelude and fugue from the WTP 11. – 12. Concert etude
