Course objectives
The aim of the course is to achieve u students maximum autonomy in the choice of using pedals in four-handed playing while respecting the internal structure of both parts, students learn to promote in the details of its manner of execution of the selected interpretive approach, and at the same time to conform to the concept of the other. The aim of the course is in but not least to develop the ability to precise interplay of both in the field of four-handed game, so when playing on two pianos.
Syllabus
  • 1. – 4. Practicing individual parts 5. Using pedals with regard to the structure of both parts 6. Tempo and rhythm changes in four-handed play on the piano 7. – 10. The construction of larger-scale tectonic formations 11. – 12. Preparation for concert performances
