Course objectives
The aim of the course is to equip students with basic information about the methods and forms of teaching playing the piano with orientation to school age children and at the same time zoom in the specifics of teaching adult beginners. The course is also focused on a treatise on the importance of a functioning communication between teacher and student and also between the teacher and the parents, who, even in the case of older pupils can significantly affect the access of pupils to the specified tasks.

  • 1. The first technical exercises 2. The correct choice of fingering as a motivational element for the student 3. – 4. The specifics of teaching the youth of school age and adult beginners 5. Improvisation of accompaniment of folk songs 6. Playing scales and chords 7. The issue of the playing by heart 8. Artistic rendering of larger musical units 9. Flawless game and musical expression 10. Preparation for public appearances 11. Communication on the axis of the teacher – pupil – parent 12. The network of music schools in Czech republic
