Course objectives
At the end of this course, students should be able to: understand and be able to give insight intu the following concepts and problems. Affine space and of its subspaces, coordinate system (affine and rectangular Cartesian), anylytical representation subspaces (parametric and literal equations), relative position: parallel, intersecting and skew subspaces, subspaces of Euclidean spaces, its perpendicularity, distances and deviations, scalar product, external product, vector product, Gramm eterminant.Students should be able to solve problems and exercises for reasons areas.
Syllabus
  • Affine space, subspace of affine spaces.
  • Affine coordinate system.
  • Relative position: parallel, intersecting and skew subspaces.
  • Euclidean space, Cartesian coordinate system.
  • Subspaces of Euclidean spaces: perpendicularity, distances and deviations
