Course objectives
The aim of the course is to present various methods of solving mathematical problems. At the end of the course students should be able to solve selected problems and discuss the exciting, often non-trivial, relations.
Syllabus
  • Pythagoras theorem and related topics, Euclidean constructions, specific Diophantine equations, periodic tilings and symmetries.
