Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to: define, explain and understand the main stylistic features of German texts and compare them with the Czech ones.
Syllabus
  • Stylistics and its position in the philology
  • History of the stylistic research
  • Macro-stylistic characteristics (form and content)
  • Micro-stylistic elements (phonetic, morphological, syntactic and lexical stylemes)
  • Stylistic features of German texts
