Course objectives
The aim of this subject is to practise the pronunciation of German vowels, diphthongs and consonants. The practice of German phonemes missing in Czech is stressed. Special attention is paid to German stress and also to German reduction of unstressed syllables. Seminar, credit: The students are supposed to read a short text and to master German pronunciation. Each student leads and complements his own phonetic lexicon. Students are supposed to show their phonetic lexicons to get the credit.

Seminář, zápočet; Zápočet: přednes krátkého textu, zvládnutí probraných jevů správné německé výslovnosti v segmentální rovině. Vedení a průběžné doplňování vlastního fonetického slovníku.
