Prerequisites
Required is a language knowledge of the German on the Level C1, which enable students to become actively involved in the work during the seminar and also to reflect on the content.

Course objectives
The main objectives of the course are:
1.) acquisition of speech and language tolls for the presentation and discussion
2.) Practical training of individual presentation
3.) Technical and formal instructions for the presentation
The issues are out of the professional sphere of the participants, that is of relevance for teaching in secondary schools.
Work is carried out practically, supplemented by brief theoretical reflection phases.
After the seminar, students should be able to handle in German single smaller presentations, as well as to advise their students in this regard.
Syllabus
  • 1.) designing a PowerPoint presentation
  • 2.) interpretation and presentation of statistics and graphics
  • 3.) Presentation of a poster
  • 4.) Product Presentation
  • All issues have to be linguistically correct, and formally adequately prepared and presented.

Assessment methods
During the seminar each participant hase to do two active presentation.
In addition to presenting the topic is to be prepared in a written version, including language material(short homework).
