Course objectives
Objectives of the subject • acquiring knowledge about error, testing and evaluation in teaching German as a foreign language, • development of the didactic competence in the field of testing and the ability of application to educational practice, • acquiring knowledge about the concepts of teaching foreign languages and activating methods, • development of reflection of educational practice and self-reflection, • Development of didactic thinking.
Learning outcomes
Student • Has knowledge of the current approach to error, testing and evaluating language skills and skills, • is knowledgeable about the concept of foreign language teaching and ways of creating opportunities for pupils to learn in pedagogical practice, • can interpret and apply this knowledge with respect to teaching practice, • gain a deeper insight into the methodology of learning and learning foreign languages and the ability to apply them to their own research projects.

  • Content and layout of the curriculum 1. Language learning abilities (1st week) 2. Testing and verifying language skills and skills a. Task and test types b. Evaluation and self-assessment (2nd week) 3. Practical Concept of Foreign Language Teaching (3rd week) 4. Learning Supporting Task Types (Creating Opportunities for Learning in Teaching, Activating and Motivating a Student) (Week 4) 5. Methods of research on teaching and teaching foreign languages with regard to a specific topic / research problem with a focus on action research (weeks 5 to 6)
