Course objectives
During the course, students work with songs that can be used to teach German. They will learn how to present songs in different ways and how to choose songs for different groups of pupils and levels.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to: - choose a suitable song for didactic - determine the language level, topic and other parameters of deactivation - didactize the song for the purpose of language teaching.
Syllabus
  • The course will take the form of a workshop. Topics: 1. links between the development of musical and speech skills 2. short introduction to the history of German music 3. actual tendencies in german pop music 4. German modern music and possibilities of use in language teaching

The course will be completed by making a song didactization and performing the group. The students have to be active during the lessons.
