Course objectives
The main objective of the course is to acquaint students with the main branches and scientific results in the field of linguistics of discourse. Further on they gain knowledge of the importance of the text analysis for foreign language teaching. They are also able to set the text analysis reasonably into foreign language courses.

  • - Linguistics of text in the philology
  • - Definition of text
  • - Features of a text and a "non-text"
  • - Dependencies within texts
  • - Intentionality, informative value and acceptability as criteria for texts
  • - Hyper-structures among texts
