Course objectives
The main aim is to deepen and to systematize the view of students into the theory and reaseach of texaher profession, with the accent on the specifics of the foreign language profession of a teacher.
Syllabus
  • The pedeutology as a theory of teacherprofession, the conception of teacher profession in the diachronny perspective; the teacher profesionalaization porcess. Professional competencies of teacher; the knowledge base of a teacher; didactic konwledge of content; professional skills of a teacher; professional thinking of a teacher; the concetion of teaching process; the concept of a quality in the profession of a teacher;. The professional development of a teacher and its support; the preparatory education of teachers; the main conceptions in foreign countries; the situation in the Czech republic; personal dimensions in the teacher education; next education of teachers. the teacher and his education as a subject of pedagogical research; the trends of reseaarch in foreign countries and in Czech republic. The foreign language teaching and its specific aspects.
