Course objectives
The Drama Education course involving movement towards theatre form focuses on finding a suitable piece of literary or non-literary writing that could be used for working on a theatre form. The aim is to establish and analyse aspects of such choice and verify the requirements set from the literary, drama, and educational point of view.
Syllabus
  • 1. Basic concepts of drama 2. Basic literary concepts and terms 3. Non-literary source /mine of the themes 4. Choice-criteria of literary model 5. Source of material 6. Prep-work with the chosen material 7. Planning of the work with a literary and non-literary model 8. Types of work 9. Verification of the topics in the material 10. Conception of adaptation 11. Basic methods used in rewriting of a literary work to a dramatic text
