Prerequisites (in Czech)
Předmět je vyučován v ruském jazyce. Je žádoucí znalost ruského jazyka na úrovní úspěšného zvládnutí 1. a podzimního semestru 2. ročníku oboru RJaL. Předmět je realizován formou studijních podpor.

Course objectives
To form a positive attitude to the Russian culture. Thy should learn what the life in present Russia is like, as well as what the Russian traditions are.They should also learn basic Russian cultural phenomenona and their projection into Russian language. Students should also improve their knowledge of Russian as well as they should improve their verbal skills.
Syllabus
  • The emphasis is placed on the relation between the study of the language and the study of the realities in the ambit of the basic topics: Russian music and balet. Russian paintings. Theater and cinema. State form. Flag, hymn, national emblem.

Teaching methods
Lectures. Theoretical preparation for the exam during the study.
Assessment methods
Oral and written exam. If the student does not perform well at his written exam (grades D or E), he can improve at the oral exam by showing better knowledge. The answers to the questions based on the given topics. Pragmatic and stylistic accuracy will be evaluated in the written as well as in the oral exam.
