Course objectives
Students will get acquainted with the basic terminology of the field, current technical literature and magazines. An integral part is preparation for pedagogical practice, interconnection of theoretical knowledge with practical use in the teaching process.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to design and implement in practice various methodological practices and activities in Russian language teaching at elementary schools.

  • 1.-2. Didactics of Russian - its subject, objectives, tasks.
  • 3-4. Framework Educational Program - Foreign Language. Common European Framework of Reference.
  • 5-6. Second foreign language. Standards. New graduation.
  • 7-8. Methods and forms of work. The specifics of the initial teaching of Russian.
  • 9. Positive and negative transfer, interference. Discussion on the issue of the teaching profession.
  • 10. An incipient Russian teacher in practice.
  • 11. Acquisition of basic vocabulary for practical teaching in Russian.
  • 12. Preparing for pedagogical practice.
