Course objectives
Practice and fixation of printing and writing form of Russian alphabet, pronunciation, and intonation. Improvement of reading and listening skills, and basic oral and written expression. Introduction to new lexical stock and basics of Russian grammar. Work with audio and video tapes. A successful learner from this course will be able to: listen and understand Russian texts, write texts, read texts and talk on these topics - see Course Contents.
Syllabus
  • Exercise book of Russian not only for self-learning (Nekolová), working with articles in magazines – development of translations from simple Russian texts. Topics aimed at development and improvement of Russian communication means and oral skills: Hotel. City transport. House and flat. Food. Shopping. Health.

Teaching methods
Regular activ participation in the class,performing assigned tasks . Listening in russian language. Reading russian texts and correct pronunciation.
Assessment methods
Written tests. Homeworks, Active participation in seminars (no more than 3 absences). Written test (based on grammatic, syntax and vocabulary).
