Course objectives
The objective of this subject is intensification knowledge of the Russian culture. The acquirement of the relation between the study of the language and realities and the national connotation of the word is important. The emphasis is placed on the reading and listening of the authentic texts trom Russian periodicals and art literature. The students theirselves look for in the ambit of the obligatory project for texts and publications about the Russian culture on the internet and different publications.
Syllabus
  • The emphasis is based on the relation between the language study and the study of the realities in the ambit of these basic topics: 1. Comparison of catholicism and orthodoxy. 2. Actual Russian music and its relation with slang of young people. 3. Customs and traditions. 4. Traditional celebrations of particular holidays. 5. Actual Russia, new Russians, business relations.
