Course objectives

Acute conditions endangering health. Basic childhood diseases orientation (infectious or chronic diseases). First-aid treatment.

Syllabus

1. Health care system in Czech republic 2. Differential health care, urgent care. Integrated rescue system 3. Health, disease or illness – aetiology, prevention, symptoms (objective, subjective) 4. Cardiopulmocerebral resuscitation 5. Acute conditions – apopsychia, shock, convulsions, burst of allergy, anaphylactic shock, bleeding, electric shock, burn injury, overheating, under cooling, acid burn, corporeal injury, being drowning, choke, poison, injury caused by animal 6. Child injury specificity 7. Civilization diseases 8. Civilization diseases and children - causes, prevention and therapy 9. Infectious diseases 10. Drugs and alcohol abuse, health risks, poisoning – first-aid 11. Medicine-chest
