Course objectives
In the course in Ontogenesis students obtain: basic conception about phylogenesis of man and detailed knowledge of individual stages of ontogenesis of man. On the basis of obtain knowledge students will understand the problems of human biological (physical, behavioural and sociocultural) structures adaptability and variability in the past and in the present; this course helps graduates in obtaining a new concept and meaning of pedagogue in integrated class.
Syllabus
  • Phylogenesis/ontogenesis concepts, basic relations asserting in Homo sapiens recent (H. s. r.) evolution and in ontogenesis of an individual being. Ernest Haeckel’s basic law of biogenetics. Outline of H.s.’s phylogenesis – I. 2. Phylogenesis of H.s. – II. Mechanisms asserting in genesis and evolution of species. 3. H.s.’s ontogenesis stages – outline, short charakteristics. Races, racism. 4. Prenatal period (gametogenesis, blastogenesis, organogenesis, fertilization, preembryo, embryo). 5. Embryopathy. Mutagens, teratogens, carcinogens. 6. Prenatal period (fetus, fetopathy). 7. Perinatal period. Childbirth. 8. Infant – characteristics – premature, postmature, full term newborns. 9. Infant period, toddler period. 10. Prepubescence. 11. Preadolescence. 12. Adolescence and puberty.
