Course objectives

The subject offers an introduction to problematics of intercultural education. It covers basic themes and sketches an intercultural education to students.

Syllabus

• A brief insight to problematics of intercultural education. Clarifying of ideas: racism and it is products, diskrimination, race violence, interculturality, cultural shock, xenophoia, intoleration, holocaust, genocide etc. Ethnic minorities, reciprocal coexistence, migration in our conditions. Churches, religions, sects, atheism – mutual conflicts and demonstrations of introleraiton – brief introduction. Discrimination of some groups in society (homosexual minorities, feminism, the role of woman in society, violence on women, chauvinism, nationalism).

Assessment methods

Student will be provided with an outline of the topics focusing on the toleration and against racism. The output is formed by an essay on the multicultural topic.
