Course objectives
The subject is based on the integration of various science fields. In the most are concluded the basic problem circuits of geography and cartography, indispesable completive components concern the statistics and geoinformatics. The reason of the subject is finding and denomination of spatial relations in the circuit of monitored social phenomena (the relations in the space i.g.among unemployment, educational attainment, criminality etc.) and determination of optimal methods of their interpretation. For that wee need overmaster basic knowledge and procedures of the determination of enters (often statistic) data and their folowed presentation in the form of graphs and above all map images. Only those namely allow the most frequently required form of presentation. The complex instrument for solving of the mentioned type of problems is the application of geoinformation technologies. They allow the record and interpretation of enters data with means of spatial orientated database, of spatial queries and findings ascertained by cartographic presentation.
