Course objectives
The goals of the course are: *to explain the terminology about Entrepreneurs, Social Entrepreneurs, Edupreneurship, Entrepreneurial Approach in Education, Entrepreneurial learning and teaching, Entrepreneurial competency… * to learn to recognize the signs of Social Entrepreneurship Projects or Edupreneurship Projects and prove their impact *to introduce Social Entrepreneurship Project in Czech Republic and share experience with other countries * to discuss the Edupreneurship like frame for inovation of education
Learning outcomes
Outcomes: - students know basic terminology in area of edupreneurship. - students know overview of examples of eduprenerial projects in other country.
Syllabus
  • 1. Terminology in entrepreneurship: What social entrepreneurship and edupreneurship mean, entrepreneurial approach and entrepreneurial competences. 2. What opportunities are available for entrepreneurial person. Everything about Social impact award. 3. Block of Experts. Interesting meeting with experts from practice. 4. Which social entrepreneurship project from my country give me meaning. Presentation of some inovative edupreneurship project from various countries with impact of their benefits for social community. Discussion of their social impact and additional value. 5. Visit of FebLab BRNO (https://www.fablabbrno.cz/)

Teaching methods
Lectures, discussion, presentation.
Assessment methods
Assessment is largely based on active participation in the course. Active participation means that the students get involved in discussions, submit their presentation in written and oral form, have 100% attendance. Students draw up a summary of the lecture given by an expert in written form, min. one A4 page. Students will prepare a presentation of the selected innovative project according to the assignment and insert it in IS within a specified deadline. The student personally presents the selected project in English language (10-15 minutes presentation) and discusses its social impact with other students.
