Prerequisites
Creating projects is an important part of all helping professions. The goal of the course is to prepare students for project planning in helping professions. This is a practice-oriented course, which will help the students develop skills with creating projects.

Course objectives
Creating projects is an important part of all helping professions. The goal of the course is to prepare students for project planning in helping professions. This is a practice-oriented course, which will help the students develop skills with creating projects.
Learning outcomes
Upon completing the course the students will be able to: • Assemble a team and collectively choose a topic for their projects • Search for subsidy schemes • Write a project description and draft a logical framework, create a budget of the project • Design a real project and prepare it for implementation in the following semester • Work creatively while creating their project
Syllabus
  • 1. Assembling the student teams 2. Work with topics for projects 3. Phases of the creative process; creative techniques 4. Logical framework matrix 5. Project description and budget 6. Evaluation of project implementation stages 7. Final project presentation The students will work as a team as part of a fictional organisation. During the exercise they will draft a project framework and complete the project documentation. The projects will involve a research investigation. The students will present their projects during the seminar. Based on this experience, they will design a real project, which they will implement during the next semester, whether in groups or as individuals. The project may deal with any topic from social education, social work, andragogy, pedagogy, etc. Towards the end of the course, the students will compile a complete documentation for the project.
