Course objectives
The student will know the problematics of the diagnostic and the speech therapy, of the communication process and the speech development; application of the systems of alternative and augmentative communication. The student will learn about the etiology, symptomatolgy, classification, diagnostic and therapeutical process of the communication disabilities.
Syllabus
  • Speech therapy, its conception and interprofessional cooperation; communication process,verbal and nonverbal communication; ontogeny of the speech, influence of the psychological and social factors; the concept, classification, symptomalotogy, diagnostic and methods of the therapy of particular forms of the communication disabilities. the utilization of the supports, aids and instruments in speech therapy practice.
