Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The main objective of the course is to deepen the knowledge about the education of adult people with disabilities. At the end of the course students should be able to understand the specifics of education of adult people especially with mental disability and autism and to acquire another specific knowledges about the support of adult people with disabilities.
Syllabus
  • autism, characteristic signs, spesific apsects of adult age, support
  • mentally disability, education of adult individuals with mentally disability
  • social services for disabled elderly people
  • adult person with inboren/gained diability, possibilities of care and support, integration, influence of the disability
  • individuals with visual impairment – visual impairment in the adult age, specific aspects, counselling, possibilities of support
  • organisations and facilities for adult and elderly people with disabilities, non-government sectro, support of socialisation
  • dementia, characteristic signs, classification, possibilities of care and support
  • validation
  • psychic illnesses possibilities of support, services
  • alternative communication – specific aspects of support of adult people or individuals with communication deficit after gained disability
  • therapy (psychotherapy etc.)
