Course objectives
The main objective of the course is to expand knowledge and skills in consulting (under the current legislation and the range of services offered), diagnostics (psychological and special-pedagogical) in the various stages of an individual's life, and interventions aimed at eliminating, eliminate or compensate for difficulties related to specific learning and behavior disorders.
Syllabus
  • Consultancy area will focus on: - providing guidance in schools and school guidance facilities in compliance with the legislation, - staffing counseling facilities and the range of their services for people with learning disabilities and behavior. Area diagnostics will focus on: - diagnosis weakened partial functions of preschool children, -diagnosis of specific learning disorders of elementary school pupils, - diagnosis and counseling services for adults, - diagnostic criteria focused on behavioral disorders (especially minimal brain dysfunction, ADHD and ADD). The area of intervention will focus on: - preventive programs (depending on the developmental stages of an individual), - alternative methods useful for individuals with learning disabilities and behavior, - reeducation care and compensation options.
