- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to explain charakteristics of autism and autism spectrum disorders, can name pervasive developmental disorders, students can define Asperger's Syndrome, know etiology, diagnostics, specific problems occurring with autism, three main problem areas, GFCF diet, alternative forms of communication for people with autism, special didactical materials, make reasoned decisions about placing a child with PAS into system of education for children with autistic spectrum disorders, can explain TEACCH programme. Learning outcomes: At the end of the course students are able to explain autism and autism spectrum disorders, are able to make special didactical materials, make reasoned decisions about placing a child with PAS into system of education and can explain TEACCH programme.
