Course objectives
Students get the skills of intervention provided to individuals with physical disability and next support measures.
Learning outcomes
The student will be able to: - describe support options of people with physical disabilities - work with compensation aids - apply therapeitic approaches
Syllabus
  • 1. Early intervention provided to children with cerebral palsy. 2. Compensatory aids for people with physical disabilites. 3. Support of psychological and motor development of child with physical disability – positioning and special aids. 4. Interventions in the area of medical support (Vojta´s method, Bobath concept). 5. Other supportive therapies (hippotherapy, canistherapy). 6. Intervention in the field of fine motor and sensomotor skillsin children with central disabilities, compensatory aids. 7. Intervention in the field of graphomotorocs pre-school , children, training methodology, control of aids. 8. Alternative ways of writing. 9. Psychological traits in pupils with severe progressive illnesses. 10.Support provided to children with health handicap - diabetes, asthma, cystic fobrosis, oncological diseases. 11.Snoezelen concept. 12.Basal stimulation.
