Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the definition, etiology, symptomatology of selected forms of communication disorder. The principles of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures applied to persons with selected forms of ICA will also be part of the problem. The content of the course builds on the topics discussed in SPk318.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will orientate:   - in definition, etiology, symptomatology of selected forms of NKS; - in diagnostic and therapeutic approaches applied to selected forms of ICA; - in possibilities of interdisciplinary cooperation to support people with impaired communication skills.
Syllabus
  • Conception, classification, symptomatology, diagnostics and therapy of various forms of communication disorder. Possibilities of supporting people with impaired communication skills; counseling, legislation. The role of interdisciplinary cooperation in diagnostic and therapeutic processes.
